On sunday i was out on my cousin's narrow boat, drifting slowly down the canal nearby, taking shots of anything i saw basically. I took hundreds of shots but mostly it was rubbish. I got a few nice ones though.
This fella was protecting his young, the mother just to the right of him, but he got fairly angry with the passing boats and started trying to fend off the evil floatation devices to protect his young. It was a strange moment, it made me smile, but it was still indeering to see another creature other than ourselves protecting its children with such passion.
You can see some of the little ones in the water just behind him. They were so darn cute!

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
